The Benefits of E-Games

Kvaroy Arctic has been a long-term supporter of gaming tournaments because we believe the benefits of e-games should not be overlooked. Just like our sustainably raised, rich in omega-3s salmon is healthy for the brain and uplifts the mood, e-games have similar effects.

While some may view e-games as a frivolous activity, research has shown that they can actually have a positive impact on mental health and can even be used to improve education.

One of the biggest benefits of e-games is that they provide a sense of accomplishment and achievement. As players progress through a game and reach new levels, they are rewarded with points, badges, or other virtual rewards. This feedback can be incredibly satisfying and can help boost self-esteem and confidence.

In addition to providing a sense of accomplishment, e-games can also help reduce stress and anxiety. Many e-games require players to focus their attention on a specific task, which can help to distract them from their worries and concerns. This can be particularly beneficial for people who struggle with anxiety or other mental health issues.

Another important benefit of e-games is that they can be used to gamify education. Gamification is the process of using game-like elements, such as points and rewards, to make learning more engaging and enjoyable. By incorporating gamification into the learning process, educators can motivate students to learn new material and retain it longer.

One study found that students who participated in gamified learning activities had better test scores and were more engaged in the classroom than those who did not. This suggests that gamification can be a powerful tool for improving education and helping students to succeed.

For these reasons and more, we’re proud to be fueling SKADE with Kvaroy Arctic salmon in this year’s Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship Finals as they compete against the best e-gamers in the world!
