Let me introduce you to our new favorite homemade recipe! These easy Salmon Nuggets start with tasty Kvaroy Arctic salmon and cook in an air fryer to create a great #EarthDay meal that kids and adults will love. To take it to the next level, you can decorate the plate with a few veggies and your kid's favorite dipping sauces to make an "Under the Sea" themed lunch or dinner. Kvaroy Arctic Salmon fillet
1 egg (beaten)
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. garlic salt
non-stick cooking spray
Optional: dipping sauces, snap peas, sweet peppers, lemon.
DIRECTIONS
Peel skin from Kvaroy Arctic salmon fillet. Cut into 1 1/2 inch chunks. You can make a batch with as many nuggets as you need.
Combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, and garlic salt in bowl.
Preheat air fryer to 400° and coat basket with non stick cooking spray.
Dip each nugget in egg, then in bread crumb mixture.
Arrange nuggets in air fryer basket and spray with a small amount of cooking spray.
Bake for 5 minutes. Flip and spray again. Bake for 5 more minutes.
Let cool for a few minutes and then serve.
Optional:
Cut sweet peppers into star fish shape and snap peas into sea plants as shown. Cut a
lemon into one slice and small wedges to make a sun.
Arrange nuggets, veggies, and lemon on plate.
Draw details with dipping sauce, such as fish fins and eyes, on salmon nuggets to make
fun designs and your child can use that to dip their nuggets and veggies in!
