Salmon Dog in a Blanket

Serves 2

  • 2 Kvarøy Arctic Salmon Dogs

  • 1 Puff Pastry Sheet

  • 1 Egg for egg wash

  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds, Black and white

  • Ketchup and Mustard for dipping

DIRECTIONS

Stabilize your grill of preheat your oven to a temperature of 350F. If using a grill, set up for an indirect cook.

Cut your Salmon Dogs into bite size pieces.

With a light touch, roll out the puff pastry just enough to thin the dough a bit

Slice the pastry into 1 inch wide x 2 ½ inch long strips.

Egg wash the ends of each pastry slice.

Roll the salmon dogs

Coat a cast iron pan with a bit of olive oil and transfer the salmon in a blankets into the
pan.

Top with egg wash and sprinkle with black and white sesame seeds.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes

Serve with ketchup and mustard


bacon asiago Salmon Burger

Serves 3

  • 3 Kvarøy Arctic Salmon Burgers

  • 1 Sliced Tomato, ¼ inch

  • 3 Romaine lettuce leaves

  • 1 Onion, grilled and sliced

  • 3 Bacon slices, cooked

  • 3 Tablespoons Burger Secret Sauce, recipe to follow

  • 1 Tablespoon Asiago Cheese, fine grade

  • 3 Burger Buns

For the Burger Secret Sauce

  • ¼ Cup Mayonnaise

  • 1 Tablespoon Ketchup

DIRECTIONS

Stabilize your grill at 450 to 500F

Season slightly oil the both sides of your burgers and place them on the hottest part of grill surface. Grill for 1.5 minutes and flip.

Place the buns on the grill briefly to char and then set on your presentation plate.

Build your burger sets.

Bun, secret sauce, tomato, bacon, grilled sliced onion, lettuce

Top the burger with cheese and allow to melt for 30 seconds.

Transfer the burgers on top of the lettuce and top with a sauced burger bun!
